Rectory Farm marquee is the most perfect spot for your English country wedding. We are 2 miles from the illustrious Kings College Chapel, the famed city of Cambridge and punting on the river Cam. Rectory marquee is located on the edge of this ancient city and yet is surrounded by fields and gardens. Our traditional, pristine marquee is constructed every year.

It is situated in a glorious English garden with borders of roses, hollyhocks, honeysuckle, lavender. Weeping willows border the marquee. The canvas facade, cream interior, majestic Venetian chandeliers and twinkling dance-floor provide a neutral colour scheme on which you can put your personal stamp.

You can hold your civil ceremony at Rectory Farm where the City Registrar will conduct the legal celebration sealing your marriage. The ceremony is held in the traditionally styled ‘Folly’ with Norfolk Reed thatch from local reed beds and Eucalyptus timbers from South Africa.

Sunny days allow guests to be seated on the lawn while the Pavilion ensures cover from wind and rain in the event of a summer shower.

The House is also licensed for smaller groups of approximately 50 guests.

Access to the marquee is by a ‘secret’ covered walkway that ensures cover in the event of wind and rain as it weaves its way through flower borders and shrubs. Complete with the Venetian chandeliers, canopy reception area and enchanting walkway. The marquee seats up to 180 people for more traditional wedding breakfast or 200 for stylish, more relaxed stand-up buffets. Our caterers will work with you to create a bespoke selection of canapés, buffets and banquets in accordance with your taste and budget.

Rectory farm also offers beautiful rooms for your guests and a sumptuous bridal suite.

Our local wedding fairs are open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and admission is free. Additionally, there are often fashion shows featuring the latest bridal gowns, as well as menswear and mother of the bride attire.
